Reduction of nuke power (or make anti-nukes better)

    I think nukes aren't needed nor fun. No one shouldn't be able to do huge amount of damage without taking damage, at least not easily. When I play PA I wanna see big armies taking contact and shooting each other. Cut the hard counter rock paper scissors outranging BS plz. It is not a real fight if another player can't fight back. People shouldn't be able to avoid every contact or casuality possible. I want to see ships shooting ships and tanks shooting tanks. I don't want to see torpedo planes bombing ships easily without taking casualities, bombers bombing tanks easily without taking casualities, nukes nuking tanks, artillery shooting my base from the other side of the galaxy (like in supcom). All I want that the game is mostly about direct encounters. This game should favor direct encounters over everything else imo.

    Seriously when are cool stuff coming to this game? I would rather have nukes that cost 40% and did 40% of current damage so i could nuke a lot of stuff, Rather than "**** everything in this general area" which is more like tactical nukes.
    Stuff i am missing as well Mirv nukes, Airbursh artillery, Bombers that drop bombs instead of "firing a rocket"

    Nukes.

    In two mind about them. Getting my commander nuked I feel cheated, like there's been a premature end to the game. However I can see the need against hardcore turtling.

    A nuke is a hella bundle of energy in a very small space, how about making them somehow more visible

    Perhaps some sort of energy detector building that alerts a direction when a nuke is built. It probably shouldn't be accurate enough to provide targeting data.

    Or maybe a similar feature that's built into the commander, after all nukes are a huge threat to the commander. Given the commander's sole purpose is war and survival it's reasonable it would have some sort of early warning system alert to a nuke in the vicinity.

    So essentially when the alert goes off you better get on the anti-nukes quick, it would encourage using nukes quickly, ideally with a coordinated attack to maximise the benefit, and would also reduce the chance of a double nuke instakill.
