    Hi UberTeam, hi Community!

First of all thx for a good game that gets better every patch. I like Sup FA and sinked days in it with my friends. Hope to see a few of its features in PA.

As this is beta i would like to report back about my experience:

    - Game is a bit laggy. Armys nearly accept commands after a short time (Think its the no units cap).
    - Game looks a bit unorganized. Unit-Frames are a bit small. Buildings should be rotatable in queue
    - Finding the Commander on Planet B when on Planet A doesnt work.

    The "would be nice" list

    - Placing Walls as a line, not as single object
    - Shields (like FA)
    - Giving KI and/or Players the free choice of their colors (Helps with Organisation to have enemys bright red)
    - Cause their is no Minimap maybe a audio warning (the part for the nice girls voice) when enemys enter Radarrange

The common more Units thing will be left alone for now...

Btw did i miss the link to the roadmap for PA?

Can you post a DxDiag.txt for me i will assist with any issues you may have getting the game to run well.

Also Do you play over Wifi to your modem or using an Ethernet cable??
Using Wifi may cause bad ping and game pauses making the game difficult to play, Framerates will be fine but your units will jump from here to there and not always respond to commands.

Hold CTRL when placing a building, then move mouse in direction you want building to face.
Holding SHIFT and CTRL in combo also works, you can place building then orient it how you like it, then place next and orient it how you like too.

inb4 "hello new user you should search the forums"

    * Laggy: I don't think I've ever had this problem. Note that pathing is pretty suspect though so a lot of times I tell my armies to attack and they instantly respond by driving largely the wrong way or into the side of a building.
    * For locating your commander, I suggest setting/recalling camera locations by using SHIFT-# to save a location and ALT-# to recall it. Huge help. Also hit "N" before saving a camera location so that it's always oriented north.

    * I think "drawable" walls would be an interesting and good addition. I don't expect it to happen though.
    * Shields: no no no no no. It makes the game too much about turtling.

    Hi Max,

thx 4 the fast reply. Really nice that you want to help me with the little lagging (DxDiag-attachment).

I have a 1GB cable connected to my router with an 54MB internetconnection.

    Hi Slam,

about searching: this should be more a report then a cry for help. Thx for the camera-infos, very helpful. And shields would be nice for those how like a lot of defense. Maybe with an lobbyoption "allowed units"

Btw i repeat my question, is there an offical roadmap for the working on PA?

Your drivers are out of date.. try these :)
    http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/70184/en-us
That driver is much newer and it's the one most people have found works best with PA.
Let me know if updating to the r331.82 driver helps :)

I see you're new tot he forums, and welcome!

You should do a search before posting in accordance with forum rules, and you should check out the FAQ which answers some of your questions.

The game performance is being constantly improved. The game is in beta.

Buildings are rotatable. Click, hold, drag.

UI is being updated and the multi planet camera view is being updated.

Placing walls in a line is a confirmed feature, will be added.

Shields are a confirmed no, and that's a good thing. Traditional bubble shields are a confirmed no. Do a search, there's lots of discussion on this.

You can choose your color. In the lobby, left click on the color to change the color, right click on the color to change the secondary color. I bet'cha that they'll be adding more colors too.

There will be a minimap added and there will be an extensive notification system added.

These are linked to in the FAQ, but I'll link them here for convenience.

Thanks. The forum search isn't the greatest, but it'll still answer a lot of questions with some digging around.
