Please let me know if this has been discussed before. I would love to see a resource cost for moving units, for firing and for ammunition. Movement would cost energy, firing would cost a small amount of energy and then a small amount of metal to replace whatever shot the unit fired. Orbital units could require both energy and mass to accellerate. I think this would make things more realistic in terms of battle dynamics. With normal battles, it costs a lot to move an army, and even more to fight a battle. Keeping units idle is relatively cheap. Perhaps ther should be a small upkeep charge too. Adding these costs to the game would place even more importance on economy. If you take out enough power, you might be able to incapacitate some or all of their units! Just a thought.
it has, and on the streams too. this is a feature that is supposed to be on it's way. at least the ui info on firering cost. moving doesn't cost anything, but it may for orbital. It's being debated on the forum, don't know where uber stands on that. but fire rate is altered on defenses by a power stall.
