Hey I suppose this has been posted before but i cant find it anywhere (i even googled) so ill just ask it.

Why isnt there a warning system when someone goes into space. OR even better why isnt there a warning when someone constructed the space cannon thingy (srry dont know the name). I just was having this massive naval vs naval battle and all of a sudden my commander gets destroyed by a 3th player who had a space cannon and no one knew he had that thing.

    greetz,

the orbital radar (i hope it's called that) is what you are looking for, you build it on the ground and instantly see if someone starts production of an orbital unit (though i think this will change with better orbital implementation)

You're talking about the Orbital Deepspace Radar. A structure that provides full vision for any units in space.

As the game progresses, this structure is a very good investment when playing on multiple planets so you can see when people leave.

Honestly, there shouldn't be a warning. If there's a warning for this, then why isn't there a warning when someone builds a nuke? Builds the first Advanced factory? Builds anything?

I have to agree. The radar itself IS the warning. Hope you have more luck now you know about it :p
