Orbital rocket "cork screwing" in flight. found something out.

This thread might not change anyones life, but it bothered the crap out of me to launch my rocket and watch it doo that silly silly spin lol. I have found a solution that makes me happy

if you give the orbital launcher structure a rally point away from the structure, the rocket blasts off in a nice straight line, it also changes where the booster lands.

just wanted to share this with you guys.

I saw rocket lunch when I was watchinh a beta gameplay video, it looks weird, the rocket should lunch up in a straight line

this has bugging me for months, but its fixed for me now.

If you were Kerbal Space Program veterans, you would know, that rockets are supposed to fly like this.

ummm no not almost end over end

I have used this as a jokey tactic when playing against ai players. Its kinda fun to spam build orbital fighters, set the waypoint toward the incoming stream of enemy forces, and have the booster rockets rain down on the army causing destruction and confusion.
