    Hi,

does anyone know how to disable the foliage on the planets? I remember that a few PA versions back, when I had LOW graphics preset, the foliage was gone, and my system was happy :) Now, it is back, and things tend to crawl.

Check the build release thread, I'm pretty sure something involving tree LOD was broken in the latest build and had to be rolled back.

If I recall correctly, there was a command-line option to do it. I've lost it now, though.

It's "--nofeatures". It will also disable metal spots, however.

    I have tried the following:

    "D:\Planetary Annihilation\PA\PA.exe" --nofeatures
    "D:\Planetary Annihilation\PA\PA.exe" -nofeatures
    "D:\Planetary Annihilation\PA\PA.exe" "--nofeatures"

The above did not work. Any other solution (trees were still there)? I have tried commenting out the void main in the prelight_flat.fs; it does work, but is not very elegant :)

You could try maxpowerz's Tree quality reducer mod. You will still see the trees, but with the least amount of polygons.
