Hello, I suggest a big single shield which has to be switch on during an artillery bombardment. charakteristik to this shield is : - nothing can pass (no vehicle, aircraft, missle or bullet) - the base is completly isolated - when the shield collaps ist damage the shield generator and environment - to avoid many overlaping shields - ervery singel overlap weakening the shield -it should be possible to destroy the shield with enough firepower over time ( damage is higer than the regeneration rate of the generator) - mabe a powercontrolswitch (more power consume = higher regeneration rate) -before you can start a counter attack or bombardment the shield has to be switched off the shield needs some time before it is at full strenght to turn it off it only needs a couple of seconds -the shield should be strong enough to survive about 3 nukes as you see on the PA kickstart trailer at 1:33 it is maybe possible to weak a incoming planet before impact and you can survive i think to turtel is a bad idea because you only have limeted recources, building ground and if you like to shoot at the attacker you have to place your defence outside of the shield where you cant reinforce your defence by Graz
