display name instead of user name on forums?

Apologies if this is a daft or recurring question, but can my steam display name be shown in forum posts instead of my user name? I linked my steam account to here when PA beta went live, and it shows my steam name next to 'display name' in my profile section but it's not showing it when I post.

It's a question that comes up from time to time.

I just had a look, and I think this is how you do it;

It already has my Steam name listed there, but it's not applying it.

Hmmz. If logging out, then logging back in doesn't fix it. Shoot a message off to @LennardF1989 or @mkrater explaining the situation.

Display name is only visible in-game.

Can confirm - you can't change your forum name to your display name. I asked this one before.

Correct, you cannot change your username - only your display name

Odd, I was bulletmagnet on here when the forum update happened. I did something (that I can't remember) and I'm now BulletMagnet.

Well, the neat thing is if you change your Display Name to match your username, but change the capitalization - that will transfer over in the Forums and display your Display Name. But ONLY if it is the same as the username.

Now it looks like you're always mad.

Heh, yah - I changed it back almost immediately. Just wanted to see it in action

That's capitalization feature is weird... If only my ubernamne would contain the _. Sadly it doesnt.
