    New Feature Thought:
If player has died it can choose to be step in queue or observe mode.
    • If observe then it can see everything untill the game ends.
    • If in queue then it can respawn back into the game, but...
    The Idea (queue respawn):
    A player build a split-brain building.
This chamber means another player in queue is granted control with that player (alliance mode).
    This can change from a 1 v 1 v 1 v 1 game to a 2 v 1 v 1 etc...
If the split-brain building is destroyed by an enemy the commander is put back into queue.

    Questions:
    What will happen ?
What do we want to happen ?
    What can happen ?
So is this a usefull idea ?

I let you respond and add maybe developers read this
and maybe a combination with your ideas combined triggers a game feature, who knows
    bye all happy PA'ing

I like this idea, seems pretty unique and could add a way to help prevent complete curbstomps, although what will decide on what team the dead player goes to? Since nobody would want to miss an opportunity to have an extra comm everyone would race to build the split-brain building.
If you give the choice to the dead player then it would just lead to them picking the biggest army, requiring you to have gentlemens rules to get the player on the weaker side , if you leave it random then that risks you reinforcing a curbstomp

Why not let people share control with allies regardless of the existence of this building?

Evidently he intended this for FFAs, not team games, but it would, in a sense, turn it into a team game.
Provided your opponent forgives you for destroying him, at least. Otherwise, delete delete delete delete....

Being able to capture Commanders could be interesting. E.g. Reclaiming a Commander will, instead of turning it into metal, resurrect it at considerable cost, but as an ally to your army. It wouldn't be a considerable advantage since your opponent-made-ally would still have to rebuild a base, but it might be a practical decision nonetheless.

It would also have interesting implications for the lore. Dead commanders being enslaved or converted could add that binary moral dilemma that TA had and PA lacks.

    This is a usefull idea.

I like but only for people who are joining an engaged match.

the option should be inaccessible to people who participated in the match, they would automatically be observers.

otherwise how can you keep people from being biased?

a can really see a guy being sour about something you did earlyer (even if you wern't the one who killed him) and once he spawns as an assist he does nothing or finds ways to sabotage things.

In a general way even people who didn't participate in the match could be biased (they know you from another match blablabla).

if it was really really detrimental to rating to sabotage, maybe it could work but I can see people going about it even then.

really I can't think of a solution to implement this without people using it to bring other down.

    any ideas?

This would be cool as an option. When you're playing an FFA and get to keep playing until the game is over. Also would be nice as GoogleFrog mentioned in a game with alliances where you could join up and assist one of your previous allies.
