    Hi, Gang,

Just installed through steam, and when I get to log in screen it just strobes and I cannot do anything except move the mouse. I think my machine has plenty of video, I am running a Radeon 5900 series card and 8GB of RAM, suggestions or ideas?

Try converting your steam key to a PA key and see if the Uber version has the issue.

It gave me the PA stopped working and froze when I tried it that way. Thanks for the input! Hopefully we will get this figured out

your drivers for the Graphics card are from 2009, update those then try running the game again.

you'd be surprised just how often "Update Your Graphics Drives" is the legit solution, so much that back on the GPG Forums it was a running gag for the first thing to be said in response to any issue was "Update Your Graphics Drives"! xD
