[New!] Faction #2 Faction Name Poll

Hey, all! Details in this cross-post, but basically we'd all of you to vote for the faction's name again. We had a lot of great discussion last time, and because we want to give you the best options, we're opening up another poll.

Was a hard choice to make. Many good suggestions there.

Big fan of Army of the Creator

Anything but The Enlightened. "Enlightened" is already a faction in the Android game Ingress... (The wrong faction, by the way. Go Resistance!)

I would really love the name to be Fist of the Founder.

I love the throwback to Asimov (if The Foundation is in any way referencing the trilogy) so I had to throw my lot in with that one.

I very much like "The Enlightened". It eloquently engenders the type of hubris common to religious extremism. The other options are either less poignant or too wordy.

I think Army of the Creator sounds pretty awesome!

Honestly, I don't like the "Army of the Creator" at all. I'd much prefer if it were re-worded to "Creator's Army" or something, though it still feels rather lame. I really like "The Adherents" though!

Neither The Foundation and The Enlightened should win. This faction is a group of religious fanatics - that's more or less the diametric opposite of enlightenment. And The Foundation is too reminiscent of Asimov's Foundation for my taste: a book about a group that was also more or less opposed to fanaticism, also a group that knew something no one else did, and it had nothing to do with religion.

Temple of the First - that's got a ring to it that I like.

I like the foundation. Its a nice kick back to Isaac Asimov's Foundation Series

I voted, but I still prefer the more mysterious The Following

Knights of the Faith sounds awesome!

Asimov's Foundation used religion to control other factions, but they didn't believe in it themselves. I think it would be awesome to have a tip-of-the-hat Foundation faction in the game, but I would prefer it not to be this one.

I think 'Temple of the First' is awesome, and much better than some of the other names, that feel like "generic 'fanatics' faction" to me.

I went with The Adherents because that's a really fantastic name for a faction. Particularly one about zealotry.

Enlightened is the only Ingress faction... Resistance is futile.

I think Adherents and Foundation are both great. Multi-word names are doomed to be abbreviated in discussion later on.

Hmmm, I'm actually really liking The Foundation.

its interesting I tend to vote for the names that don't stand a chance of getting in.
