Hey all, I just got PA via steam after following the game for some time. After the first run where I linked my steam and uber accounts, I couldn't connect to the server. Upon restarting the game, I get this error and the game closes: Error Connecting to UberNet: Invalid Steam Ticket I can't figure out if it's on my end or the server's. Google didn't help much, and I could only find one thread on the forums (where the problem mysteriously went away). Ideas? Cheers, Unislash Edit: Starting the game from the steamapps folder didn't change anything. Error still occurs
Two other people just posted on the forum with a similar problem. It looks like this has just started happening now. My guess would be that Steam broke. Just hang tight until Valve fixes it. [EDIT:] More than two people now.
As if on-queue, the error has gone away. So, it looks like it's on the other end. For anyone in the future with this error, it took about a half hour to resolve itself. Cheers all
When such problem happen game client should let you login with your UberNet credentials. If you get such error and have no login form after you closed it please vote (or leave your comments) for: PA#2559 It's important because few people said they have login form and few said there is no login form.
