    Hi,

Right now the queue indicator are moving arrows. However, on a large planet with 2 or more players in your army and a lot of queued orders, this can become very confusing and hard to see (all those moving arrows become pretty confusing). Is it possible to mod this (or add an option), so the queue arrows become static or become a line as in SupCom?

adding to this, it would be very nice if eventually, there were more detailed colour-coding. yellow for patrol, purple for factory waypoints, that sort of thing. it can be hard to decipher what's what when you have a complicated and large base.

I mentioned in another thread, I kinda wish units had a "Sims" style queue when you select them.

    top left.

You can click them to cancel items without removing the ones further along, or hold and drag to rearrange them.

Seems like an almost perfect solution for PA, (unless you regularly have 1 unit queued to do 100's of tasks).

i think that is a phenomenal idea. there are many times i've given 5 or 6 orders to a fab unit only to realize i had meant to cancel his current order first. i then have to cancel all orders and re-issue the set of orders.

I think the rts genre could benefit allot form looking at games like the sims.

Whilst it is a completely different game (still arguably an rts though), it uses a very similar structure for how the player works with the game.

Personally I don't play sims much, but it is an incredibly well made game. everything just seems to work and have very little possible improvements for what its trying to achieve. (EA and pricing aside)

despite their genres, games can always take ideas from others.

just from looking at the screenshot you posted for all of 8 seconds, i surmised that showing unit types and their respective counts in the bottom left, similar to the faces in the picture except as a unit thumbnail, would be quite useful.

If you guys can generate some screen shots and give a very detailed description, I can make sure it gets added to the UI suggestions list.

Neutrino has admitted that the current UI is an abomination. But it is better then nothing. The game is in Beta. :) Just wait patiently till Uber has finnished the UI. Then is the time to make suggetions. (Or tell you suggestions to Culverin and it will be added to "The List":p)
