It would be nice to get a launcher for Mac to automatically download updates (like Windows). Are there any plans to implement something like this? I'd prefer to use Steam as little as possible because it's so poorly optimized and unstable for Mac.
Right now they have somebody working on a new launcher. Just got delayed because he was pulled off of it to do other things.
I'm also waiting for a launcher for Linux. I mainly play on Windows, but I also use Linux and would love to easily switch back and forth without having to manually update the Linux version for each patch.
