Hello Uber staff I know this thread is everywhere from different users, but i haven't been able to find a proper solution Game simply doesn't start and throw the tipical "pa.exe stop working" error. I have tried: - updating video drivers - updating audio drivers - reinstalling directX - uninstall/reinstall the game and even steam - installed it on the HDD hardrive (mi OS is in the SSD) I'm running the pc on Windows 7 64x I attach to this thread mi DxDiag. I simply don't know what else I can do to smash a moon/planet on an other planet. I bought the game since the alpha and never worked on my desktop (i played from my notebook but got tired of it since the game begun to be horribly slow) Please. Help.
I had the same problem tried everything , and the only way I could play was to restore my computer to a earlier date , I was clutching at straws but hey it worked !! I don't know if it's a viable option for everyone but it worked for me
Do you have one video card with two monitors or SLI with two video cards? Also, are you running game from Steam or though Uber launcher? Few things you can try: Open directory where game installed, then open bin_x64 directory and run PA.exe as administrator Open game directory, then open bin_x86 directory and try to run PA.exe from here. Please post here if something worked.
I have nearly the same setup and I was also having the issues with pa.exe has stopped working I tried the Staff's advice and it did not work for me but I did try something else that got the game working I went into my graphic settings and changed all executables of the game to not be using the Integrated Settings and it is now working for me. Hope this helps others out.
