when i start off the game i get this little builder robot and right off the bat when i try to click him my mouse with shoot about 2 inches across the screen towards the upper left hand corner, i was able to get around not selecting him by moving my mouse around to other side (lower right hand corner) and making a box around him so i could select him and bring up the building options. but when i try to select a building option it does the same thing as before and moves my mous up and to the left. so far i cant select anything that can be toggles by the mouse besides the esc options. Thus making it impossible for me to play the game. i am posting this in hopes someone knows a fix or the devs will read this and fix this glitch or bug or w/e it is.

    here is dxdiag

It's probably quite strange question, but can you make short video of your problem?

Also please vote and confirm it on bugtracker:

Also I probably found reason of your problem.
You both got Windows 8 and non-standard DPI settings. Seems like PA or Coherent UI doesn't detect your clicks properly because of that.

I have no idea how you manage DPI settings on Win8, but there is some instruction from microsoft site:
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/wind ... =windows-8
Or just try to find other instructions on internet.

According to your DxDiag.txt currently you have this:
Try to change DPI settings to 100% and then check your DxDiag, then try to run PA in this mode and report here about results.

    You have non-standard DPI:
Try to change DPI to default 100% follow this instruction:
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/wind ... =windows-8

And please post here if it's helps to fix your problem.

    ❋❋❋❋❋❋❋Resolved❋❋❋❋❋❋❋❋❋❋

A little confusion on my part. Seems the game only works at 100% or in my case 96 DPI. I was trying to set the DPI at 100 and not the percentage. It does work, the only issue is now I will have to change this setting and log out and back into my system everytime I want to play PA - hopefully you guys are looking into a fix for this.

You need to vote for problem on bugtracker: FS#1119

Actually there might be way to bypass the problem.
Can you try to set both system and user DPI to 150%?
