Im not a beginner to strategy games, but ive seen videos with people who seem to have upgraded metal mine things? Is there a way to use nukes? and even have all the units you don't have at the start of the game? I really don't know where to begin, how can I access all of the other units??

You'll need one of the advanced factories.

Each fabber can build its respective advanced factory (land fabbers build adv. land factories, etc).

The extra units are in there. Advanced fabbers can build upgraded metal extractors as well as nuke launchers.

The current GUI is rather weak and does not show how to intuitively scale up for late-game, it will be fixed later.

Have you played this game's spiritual predecessors (Total Annhilation and Supreme Commander)?

If you have not, make sure you understand these:
    - Flow based econ (income/spending/net, storage)
    - Income of Advanced metal extractors vs Basic.

This is the path to scale your tech.
Commander > Basic Factory (bot or vehicle) > Fabber > Advanced Factory (bot or vehicle) > Advanced Fabber > Advanced buildings

    Advanced buildings include:
    - Orbital launcher
    - Advanced power
    - Advanced metal extractor
    - Nukes
    - Anti-nukes

I'm a bit new to the game myself.
I'm hoping the veterans here will chime in if I missed anything.

Thanks a lot guys, and yeah I am a huge fan of supreme commander, but that is a very different game as far as the building aspect is concerned
