    Strap in! It’s almost time for another Planetary Annihilation livestream!

    Come join us this Friday at 1PM PDT to see some more hot (and explode-filled) Planetary Annihilation action. We’re going to be talking about some new and upcoming features, as well as chit-chatting about the game in general.

    I was wondering how much crunching has shaved down the cost. Considering its been slightly more then a year.

    If that question is to serious I have another serious question. Branching off the last live chat with the steam controller integration, what about integration or custom-ability with other controllers. (Xbox 360/720, PS3)

    one last question. How do you feel PA is stacking up compared to other RTS's that are going to come out at the same time?

    1 Will uber ladder make it in beta or wait till launch?

    2 can we use unit cannon on the planet its on or is it only interplanetary?

    3 When are the clumps of metal going to be implemented?

    4 How soon are you guys going to start adding more units?

    5 Will unit set be completed before launch?

    6 Any plans for trying to push pa as an esport?

    7 any chance the commander can gain the hunker ability

    8 any change in plans for 40 man drop in drop out battles?

    9 any chance of knocking a planet to a different orbit like into the orbit of another planet causing them to collide thus killing two birds with one stone

    10 you guys know we love the work your doing and are rooting for your success every step of the way right?

    Just want to say you guys are doing awesome work.:cool: Will you be able to build scouts and have them automagically go off in random directions? Will PA support Hyper Text Coffee Pot Control Protocol (HTCPCP 1.0) as per RFC 2324? So will be able to control your coffee machine. Would it be possible to have the will more game tech in the livestream? As a hundreds foot overview. (eg engine, etc.) Hopefully it works out.

    I have a question for Uber, when are we going to see more commanders and are the beta players going to have access to the alpha or delta commander when the beta is over?

    Hope we'll be seeing replay functionality soon. It would really make it easier to point out bugs and demonstrate balance issues.

    I was wondering if you could expand on the usage of the "ammo" system. Bombers already use it in some limited fashion I believe, but how many other units will use it? Will catapults and land based artillery have ammo? What about ships or other static defenses? Is it planned for units to use energy while moving as well? I'm assuming it will cost energy for units to regen their ammo, correct?

    I understand this is all in development and subject to change, but I'd like to hear your thoughts on where unit/defense energy usage is headed since I haven't heard much official mention of it. Thanks! :)

    I would like to know - what are your plans for the wreckages on the battlefield?

    - will they turn from a wreckage to rubble like in TA .. or like it´s now from (very few) wreckages to nothing?

    - will they be an obstacle for all units or will tanks (and other units) be able to roll over them slowly?

    ---> will at some point in development the units be placed accoring to their position on the ground usind their xyz achsis .. like rolling down the tankfactory parallel to the ramp at .. a 30 angle or something?

    I love livestreams! always fun to watch and great info, I have one question....

    In the procedural map making, any plans to have a symmetrical setting for balanced tournament maps? something can be auto generate 1/4 of the planet and copies the planet into a full, evenly balanced orb?

    new units that you are planning to put in and when we are able to password games / kick people from games and when metal sliders are going to come in. I would also like it if u could tell me when people can spawn on different planets.

    Atm, generating a desert template planet with no water leads to a grey mountain-filled planet. Will we be able to create planets that are entirely desert biome?

    What is the current status of unit formations and more accurate plane and ship movement? (Example: Banked turns on planes and ships actually moving like ships)

    Hi Uber! Here are some questions that I would love to hear your answers to in this live stream, if at all possible.

    1) You are creating this engine with an eye to making it easy to mod, which is both admirable and awesome. What I want to know is to what extent will you create hooks for modders to use, etc? For instance, what will definitely not be moddable?

    2) Flocking/formations - do you intend to work on implementing flocking that is controllable to some extent. For instance say you have units scattered around the north pole, and you select them all and tell them to move south via one or two waypoints. Would it be possible to issue a 'group here' waypoint, where units will slow down or stop until they are all in one big mass, and then move on to the next waypoint? I think this feature would be brilliant and take away another cumbersome element of micro. If you don't intend to do this, will it be possible to make a mod for it?

    3) I spoke to garat about the 'roam' feature that is not yet implemented. What are your plans for this feature? Will it be completely random? I wanted to write a mod that would let you issue a roam command to, for example, a Firefly, and the Firefly would then start flying in a perfect spherical spiral (http://mathworld.wolfram.com/SphericalSpiral.html), adjusted so that it's range of sight will cover the entire planet. So basically, a click and forget command to scout for the enemy.

    4) When can we expect 'click + drag' functionality to build a row of buildings of the same type at once. This is important, because the furious clicking of me queuing pgens at the start of each game is driving my fiancée crazy! ;)
