MNC crashes on initial launch

Just d/led steam.
Just had it get all updated.

I hit the Play button to launch it.

"mnc.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close."

Not sure what's going on, does this every time.

What are your PC specs?

Have you restarted Steam? And set you language settings to English.

restarted steam, restarted the PC. Language settings are default on English? at least all the places I can find.

Any idea what your video card is? The minimum requirement for video card is a 78-- series nVidia, which were one of the last decent series for AGP slots.

No idea. How do I find this? Hard to imagine a video card is responsible for the program not even launching.

Seeing the specs of his PC alone, I doubt there is a decent videocard. Sorry, your PC is just not powerful enough to run this game, hence why it crashes. It could even be that the CPU is too old and misses some instruction sets.

the specs he has posted so far meet minimum requirements, although I agree that it's unlikely the OP has a decent video card (hence me asking about it)

Also, I know that it seems weird that video card would be responsible for the game not launching, but it was the culprit for a friend of mine (he has been in the market for a new PC anyway, I think this might push him over the edge.)

Not weird at all, especially if you using onboard video (video that is built into your motherboard, instead of having a dedicated graphics card). It not uncommon for a game to rely on a function or feature that low end or older graphics cards may not have, resulting in the game not being able to run at all.

ROFL MNC requires a better video card? that's a laugh. Doesn't matter, I get a new laptop in 1-2 weeks, will test it then.

It is a shame, I wanted to compare 360 to PC and probably omgwtfpwn with the others. Shooters on PC is a joke so it'll be interesting how this one works out for the PC.
