pa.exe has stopped working

It goes to a black screen with the custom pointer and stays there indefinitely until you randomly click a few times before it crashes. Have redownloaded through Steam and palauncher. New graphics drivers have been installed. DX9 has been reinstalled. Have tried running it through Steam, with palaunch, and both x86 and x64 exes as admin.

Please update your video card driver and DirectX. They're out of date.
