How do i update the game without steam? do i re-install it?

i can't update tell me how to without using steam

I would also like to know. I downloaded the client directly and installed on my PC. It's been running fine all week, but now when I run it says there's a new version, but only gives me the option to exit the game or continue but not play.

Same here. The launcher says there is no update when I verify files but when I enter the game it says I must download the new client version.

The launcher is not downloading the patch! Pressing verify files on the launcher does not work... Anyone else?

Windows here btw.

I'm also running into these 'not updating' issues. On a more interesting note, I've deleted the PA folder and tried to 'reinstall' and found that the launcher thinks the files are all fully there and up-to-date. So, there's definitely something funny going on with the verifying files part.

I'm getting the same problem right now, verifying files basically just flashes and disappears.

Yeah I'm having the same issue.

I'm also running into the same issue.

PA Launcher starts up, reports as no updates needed, and when I click 'Verify Files' it does a quick check and reports itself as still up to date.

When I attempt to launch, I am told I'm out of date, and I can quit, or start in a 'can't use it' mode.

OS is Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 Bit, Service Pack 1.

I hadn't tried to fire it up since last week, where everything was working fine.
