Hey there guys! Not sure if this has been posted already, tried searching for it on the forums but there sure are alot of posts that have walls written in them! I was just chatting with a friend about if there will be different types of walls added later on? Such as low height walls which defend against bots and tanks and simple attacks, and then high walls which can defend against like artillery and stuff! But it works both ways, stopping your own artillery from firing over them. I think I remember this was in total annihilation, I try not to reference other games for ideas but was curious on this! Sorry if this has been asked a billion times! Just was being curious on the subject! Have a great day!
I would be interested in seeing some kind of analog to tank traps and barbed wire. Tank traps stop tanks but not bots, and barbed wire stops bots but not tanks. Not sure how barbed wire would work in the future, but we already basically have tank traps in the normal wall, since bots can usually fit in the spaces between walls.
That would be neat as well. I really enjoy the defense aspect from the older genres like TA where you'd see ruins of bases and all the defunct defenses after a battle and stuff. Would be neat to have a cool variety of interesting defenses!
Personally i like the idea of having a higher wall. again its about adding choices and pro's and con's to the game. Its very interesting to have wall that block their fire and your own. Like it!:
