Multi Monitor Thoughts

    I am aware that the game is far from implementing hi-res multi-monitor stuffs and that we have a bunch of hardware optimization to go through before we can even really think about it. But I'd like to talk about it anyway.

    For single-screens, could we make the planet menu accessible with a hotkey? (maybe it is, I'm still learning) Then for dual monitors, the second screen becomes a full version of the planet navigation and that hotkey switches the monitor from tactical view to the multi viewport idea (mentioned in the confirmed features).
    The tactical view could show the system with the planet's rotating in their orbits, your commander's location, maybe a red blip where your unit is destroyed? Maybe it could start flashing red when a "celestial body" starts moving out of orbit! :D

    I'm super excited- even if its just really simple, any multi-mon support is fantastic.
    What are some of your thoughts on how to best utilize all of this extra space??

    There is definitely going to be multi-window support in the game, which would work very nicely with multiple monitors... Watching over multiple battles on different planets on an array of monitors would be awesome.

    I would be happy just to have the expanded view. For right now I get less than 10 fps when i'm in 3 monitor mode.
