BETA: Uber Launcher Unhandled Exceptions

Exception on first load of Beta this morning. Ran installer as per email, that updated. Then I ran the installer updater. That worked. About 10 minutes later some exceptions occurred. I didn't capture the first exception, I pressed continue. However they were all to do with date formatting.

Finally after about 5 similar exceptions that occurred I wrote this thread. This is the final exception.

I've underlined the time because it seemed odd.



I'm about to try re-running the launcher but I wanted to capture this first.

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Further to the above, I think that on my connection the download gets "interrupted" and stops transmitting data. Shortly after that the estimated speed drops towards 0.

After about 1 minute the estimated speed reaches 0 and a DIV/0 error causes the UI exception that I reported above.

So the actual fix is to detect dropped connections and re-start the download after a timeout.
