    Outdated drivers it's your problem:
    Code:
Card name: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650
    Driver Date/Size: 12/26/2012 19:08:55, 37376 bytes
To update driver you need do this. First open this page:
    http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/radeonmob_win7-64.aspx
First try to download and run "AMD Mobility Radeon™ Driver Verification Tool". If it's give you drivers to install just use them.

If it's say that your hardware isn't compatible you need do that:
    1. Backup important information from laptop.
    2. Download and install "Latest Beta Driver" from same page.
Usually generic drivers don't cause any problems, but I'm recommend back backups anyway.

PS: If you met any problem post back here, I'll try to help you.

    Hi,

got the texture problem too! bought the game yesterday (steam) and had no clue what was/is going on, so I'm skirmishing "blindly" now, and practice base building... would be great if this major issue could get fixed quickly...! the fullscreen problem isn't so bad in comparison.

this game COULD be fun, but not like this... :(

    iMac 27-inch Mid2011
    Processor: 3.4GHz intel Core i7
    Memory: 16GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6970M 2048MB
Software: Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5

Developers know about this problem for a while and I' might assume it's not something might be fixed fast. If this was easily fixable I sure it's were fixed already then.

So wish them best of luck and wait for future version.

Newest patch release fixes this - thanks, guys! The game looks beautiful on my MacBook Pro 17"! Now I need to get a three-button mouse, so I stop getting creamed by the AIs... :)
