I get download speed in bytes per second. Is supposed to be normal download speed of beta? And when I finally "finished" it yesterday it kept going over 100% until it crashed.
If download goes to low, cancel and redo: check integrity. or restart launcher new. Thats mostly how i do it. Took me 20 Hours to download the pre beta 2h for 54412 and only half an hour for 54459.
Tried it. At some point download will just slow down to 0.00 Also I managed to crash client by downloading over 100% of file again.
well keep trying it. look at the number of files and download size, it will be less each time you start new
Downloading from steam or their website? I've downloaded the client several times for different OS's over the past few days and it's maxed out my connection each time.
From uberent. Yeah at the beginning it maxes connection but then it kinda I dunno? stops? There are numbers indicating progress but it seems to do anything in short bursts. Also I tried cancelling and veryfying files. Files I need to download keep getting smaller but, now it takes like 5 minutes to download remaining 2 mb. And then i'm getting microsoft net framework errors which I presume are results of downloading more than 100% of file.
Ok I think I managed to download it. It only took me 2 days edit:Or maybe not seeing as nothing apart from game menu works. But hey at least I can see menu now... or some parts of it anyway... progress!
Is your internet connection really bad somehow? For me and most others the download of PA works quite fast.
After few more times of hitting verify files everything works. It sometimes stops working for few hours, but when it works it is quite fast (30 mb/s). During PA downloading I checked if everything is alright with my internet connection by redownloading game on gog.com . Everything worked flawlessly there.
Try using a program to monitor your what data is sent. Also wireless networks (or wireless internet) has a tendency to be so slow that the TCP connection downloading the game isn't working and the server sends the same data because it doesn't know that you already have it.
