    First Intel HD3000 drivers outdated:
    Code:
Card name: Intel(R) HD Graphics Family
    Driver Date/Size: 1/28/2011 03:57:16, 7470080 bytes
Download and install "Win64_152818.exe" from here:
    https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=23102

Then make sure you using latest driver for you NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M, download the, here:
    http://www.nvidia.com/object/notebook-win8-win7-64bit-327.23-whql-driver.html

After you finish updating of drivers check this how-to on youtube:

And then configure PA.exe to run on high performance Nvidia graphics card. After game will work perfectly!

Do you run game though Steam or Uber launcher? Can you run PA.exe directly and make screenshot of error appear?

Everything okay with your hardware so probably you can only wait for newer version. There is some issues with Nvidia cards and also some issue with loading time which I can't understand yet.

They looks like server-side problems, but I'm myself can never get any high loading time on Linux... So I can't be sure it's server side only.

have you tried running PA as an administrator?

also try disabling your Anti Virus and giving it a go.

I'm think you just need to wait for future updates, or you can try to find and download older Nvidia drivers, but I doubt your problem really related to them.

I'm also getting a crash whenever I try to start a game, and I get the Connection Lost when it runs with elevated privileges. I'm running Windows 8 64-bit on a Core i7 2600k with 8 GB DDR3 and a GeForce GTX 470 with the latest nVidia drivers.

I am also having the problem where I open the game, the launcher opens, its fine, and then the game opens and it just goes black and crashes. The game worked just fine when I first downloaded it... Can someone look at my DXDiag and tell me if they can see a problem in there?

    You have outdated drivers:
    Code:
Card name: AMD Radeon HD 7640G
    Driver Date/Size: 1/27/2012 13:50:28, 942592 bytes
You need to install generic drivers from AMD website:
    http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/radeonmob_win7-64.aspx
First try to download and run "AMD Mobility Radeon™ Driver Verification Tool". If it's give you drivers to install just use them.

If it's say that your hardware isn't compatible you need do that:
    1. Backup important information from laptop.
    2. Download and install "Latest Beta Driver" from same page.
Usually generic drivers don't cause any problems, but I'm recommend back backups anyway.
