Keep in mind that this is Uber's first time doing this whole crowd funded early backer, early access thing. I'm sure they're doing the best they can but are just going through some growing pains. Patiently waiting. I guess I should get to work anyway. haha.
Is it annoying that people buying it on Steam get in now? Nope, frankly I don't care. Steam is handled by Valve, but my key is being handled by Uber which is a much smaller company and possibly a bit preoccupied at the moment. I'll get my key eventually and I'll play it then.
Also the reason the Steam people are getting it first is that they're paying $20 more than most of us did. A year from now, I promise that not a single person here will remember that they had to wait 8 or 10 hours to get their key. Just suck it up and be a man. Or a woman, if that's how you roll. Or an androgynous transgender zoophile. Hey, who am I to judge? Just chill, kittens.
I was in the Kickstarter and I just got my email... only I can't login to Ubernet with the launcher. I sincerely hope they didn't make the same mistake as EA Phemonic and have different password parameters in the main site and an alternate login.
