I have 200 curors and Grandmas and 100(+) of every other building but the new antimatter's (I have 98 of em though)

All the upgrades but I think some of the cookies but they don't seem to want to load in for me.

And making 24,190,625,193.7 cookies per second and I click for 967,763,317.5

Cheating on this was the best thing I ever did.

After getting 200 cursors, 150 grandmas, and 100 of everything else but time machines(the best thing at the time) I decided to get the shadow achievement for cheating.

And suddenly, I was free from the urge to ever touch the game again. It didn't feel cheap, I didn't lose any sense of accomplishment. Just freedom from the ridiculous urge to keep the tab open 24/7.

I got bored of the game in about 5 minutes. I can see the draw of that exponential increase of numbers (a psychology paper on positive reinforcement is somewhere in this), but because of the exponential increases in cost, there is technically no way to maximize efficiency. (Okay, I'm sure there is, but I'm not about to solve a complex linear set just for a javascript game.)

However, it is an interesting study of one of the principles of addictiveness for a game, that of exponential progression. This is why mmos/persistent games have such an attraction for many players.

Or alternatively, there is appeal in a game where you can have relatively low investment (I spend about 4 minutes a day on it, over the course of about 12 hours), and still get entertainment out of it.

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

I just spawned a golden cookie for the Cheat achievement and didn't click it. Easy peasy.

This game has stolen too much of my life already. My income is up to seven billion a second, but I don't even turn my laptop off anymore so it can keep running. :/

I still don't understand the appeal of this game. 3 minutes in and I was bored as heck. I guess it's not for everyone.

You don't really play it. You witness it. :)
