"PA.exe Stopped Working"

Hello i've got PA.exe stopped working error does anyone know how to fix this!?

What were you doing that resulted in the crash?

Keep in mind that the game isn't optimized yet, crashes are fairly common at the moment. Tabbing also increases crash rates (from my experiences)

The game crashes after i click the play button on the steam.

Your video card drivers seem to be pretty old, 2009.

Have you tried updating your video card drivers?

Updating your graphics drivers should fix it.

I'm recommend to use "Latest Beta Driver", it's reported to working better than stable one for PA.

AMD Driver autochecker sayes taht i have the latest version of drivers.

Go to the link Sxx posted, there has been new drivers as of this year. Forget about autocheckers - they fail to pick up things such as beta drivers, etc.

I've got the same problem when trying to start the game from Steam. I've checked my drivers and they are all up-to-date.

I get an annoying Windows message saying that it wants to send some files to MS.
Contaning things like this:

My best guess from that is, that for some reason Windows tries to start it in 32 bit mode instead of 64 bit.

Post your DxDiag. It could be a steam issue, coudl be something else.

Well if only beta drivers are going to let me play the game at this stage - forget it. I never installed beta drivers on any live system and will not start now. I'll check the game once its out of alpha or beta.

First you should upload your DxDiag.txt at least, so we'll see what problem you have.

But with your logic I'm probably think you shouldn't play Beta games.
