System Settings > Desktop Effects > Advanced Compositing type: Set to XRender (As apposed to OpenGL) Apply, and accept. Will break your pretty desktop effects. Ah well. Catalyst Control Center > Tear Free Disable. Causes screen tearing. So sadface. I don't know why. This is what I have to do in order to play. Linux Mint KDE 15 Pre-Release x64 Any input regarding this? Out of date... So you can ignore me
What is your GPU? If its pre-SI (CAYMAN or previous) you can use FOSS drivers. There is few glitches (most is fixable), but PA is solid on open source drivers and it's work just fine no mater what compositing is used. Also why you still need to use XRender? I'm thinked it's was only needed to fix cursor glitch which is fixed now.
GPU: Radeon HD 7970 :O I just posted this without checking the changelog of the latest version. Interesting. It works now! :'D Yes, the reason for the xrender was for the cursor issue. Dang. I just checked the tear free feature. No graphic issues there, either. I love it how for like.. 6 updates, I had these issues, and I make a post about some advice, and find out I'm out of date.. :c Ah well. Good job Uber. Glad I supported. Thanks, ssx.
