Yes I did, I actually updated my driver before I even checked this forum because Steam told me to do it. I tried it again to make sure and it is updated but the game is still not working, I hear the music and see the cursor and the steam icon pops up in the right hand corner but that is it. I'm also wondering if it's not just a problem with steam, is there any way to play through the uberent launcher after buying it on steam?

Your first DxDiag clearly saying you did not updated driver before you post it here or you just get update from wrong place, e.g from notebook manufacturer website where you can never find actual GPU drivers.

Also can you please upload new DxDiag, just to be sure that your hardware really have same problem as HD2000/3000?

Yes, after you link your Steam and UberNet accounts (use this link to check linking) you'll able to update/run game though Uber launcher, but actually it's won't fix this particular issue because there is no differences in Steam and non-Steam versions of game.

i know how to look up my computer specs i have intell hd 3000, that does not change my comment that you should roll the update back untill the issue is resolved. if this was a free demo i would not mind but your charging people $90.00 to watch a black screen and send you computer specs to develop instead of paying game testers.

Hmmm... I don't understand what is wrong, I looked and it still says that I have the outdated drivers even though I DID download and install it before I sent you my DxDiag and I did it again after you told me to do it, for some reason it is not accepting the new driver update I'm not sure why. I downloaded it several times and installed it as well, one time it said that there was a problem updating and to reinstall using the recommended settings which I did but it is STILL not accepting the update.

This is good if you know that, but there was at least 10 people before who own notebooks with discrete AMD/Nvidia GPU, but still run game on Intel HD. So if you totally sure you don't need any help you might not upload system information.

Second you're not paid to test game, you paid to give extra money into development of good game and testing is just an option here. If you don't want to test it you might get back to game when it's released. Currently game in real alpha stage and for alpha it's extremely stable.

I attached a screen shot saying that my drivers are current even though they are not, I checked the Intel website like you said and this is what it had to say in the image. I'm starting to get frustrated as to why my computer and the intel site thinks my drivers are current.

It's not only you... Just put "intel 2827 2993 problem" in google and you'll find multiple reports about that.

This driver also contain some OpenGL fixes, so probably it's might be helpful to run PA.

I think you need to go there, register and ask question why this driver not installable for you.

I'm only can recommend try clean Windows setup (e.g without DELLs OEM crap which can break driver installation), but if you cant do that you just probably need wait for next PA update. Uber will fix problem for HD 2000/3000 and probably it's will be fixed for you as well.

Latest drivers are always useful, but really your card bellow minimal requirements anyway, so maximum new driver can do it's give you +1-3 to FPS.

PS: Can you upload your updated DxDiag.txt?
Also if next update fix your issue please post about that here because you only one person with such card who reported it.

Just got the latest update (52973), and it still didn't work. Quite sad, actually. I'm just downloading another driver set, because I have the same issue with spore and Empire: Total War, and pretty much any other full-screen game.

You don't listen, wait for optimisation batches on the game for intel HD 2000/3000 to be intergrated.


seriously though, they pack as much graphical power into an iphone, you really oughta lower your expectations to that of your standarts.

I'm new, not very tech savvy and I'm having the black screen issue with no "not responding" notification. Reading through the posts I can't tell if its been fixed or not or what I can do to fix it. Can someone tell me i haven't had the chance to play it yet all I've had is the black screen.

well you need to hit start type "dxdiag" and hit enter then "save all information", on the text notepad that pops up, save to your desktop as "dxdiag.txt" and upload as an attachment to your answer.

Yay for hotfixes!!! But, I still get "not responding"... Updated my drivers, and got the only previously-released driver, changed the color scheme, and restarted my PC, but the same issue. It just happens as soon as the PA window pops up, then at the top it says "(Not Responding)". Any fixes for THIS?

First please upload your current DxDiag.txt, so I'm can check what driver you actually have.
Second open directory of game and check what version "version.txt" file contains, just to be sure you really have fixed build.
