Changes needed to the gimped gunner/tank jumpjets

    Wish they'd apply this same thought process to the sniper rifle. ;)

    I don't see many snipers, and even more rare to see a sniper that is actually good at picking off targets.

    So I would have to disagree on a "sniper nerf" :lol:

    I actually didn't find it to be that big of a problem. Like Eka and the devs have always said give it some time and maybe it won't be so bad.

    After we update with a visible meter, we want to keep the change for awhile and see how people react to it.

    Well, hard to get a non-biased opinion. Everyone that will "react" to it probably mains tank or gunner. Since I very play every class equally I don't mind the change. I've noticed that when I play gunner or tank now that my escape attempts are futile. I usually fly in from the heavens with a ray of jetgun to the face, and then the escape fails when 2 assaults come in :lol: .

    Gunner probably got nerfed more than the tank. At least tank gets to use his charge quite frequently, especially at lvl 2 and 3 charge; Gunner has nothing. In fact, without maybe a gold or silver slot of speed, gunner would probably be further down on the "most op" list. Maybe that was intended.

    Will it based on cooldown or charge?
    cooldown: doesn't matter how long you use jetpack, can only use it once before cooldown kicks in
    charge: using jetpack starts draining the meter, regenerates while not in use

    I'd prefer the charge meter.

    Which means that if I want to keep a correct mobility, I would have to drop either armor or RoF for it... :( :(

    To be honest, a smart player can go without RoF for the minigun and with speed will allow you to dominate the map. However, I guess you want the rate of fire for the uhh... mortar.
    Which I'll admit is nice, but I play without it (RoF) fine.

    edit: i try to leave destroying turrets to assassins. Hopefully I have one because to me gunner just doesnt do well standing still as a target. Say hello to "headshot!"

    I've played a lot with speed endorsement before, and I was waaaaay less effective when it came to close/mid fighting. I believe RoF is a must have when playing gunner. And if you take a look at most gunner's guides on Xbox, they all use RoF.

    But then, each player has his own style after all :)

    my 2 cents, I don't know if anyone suggested this and I could not be bothered to read 8 pages to be honest :X.
    anyway in dead space (didn't play it) from what I understood he had his health bar on his back

    anyway both the tank and the gunner have the same thing on their jetpack that is currently only for show, I propose that it will show how much jet you got left

    As you see it's in a clear place that will not obstruct your view or change the game
    what do you think?
