Anybody I've played with ought to know my fascination with naval. Finally I can do it without having to maintain a land base.

This has been a gnarly one for us. We finally got a Sandy Bridge IIG3000HD today that we could test on, so hopefully we can figure out what was going on, assuming we can even repro the thing. It's on our list, and it's not being forgotten, but such a hardware specific bug is a bit of a bear to track down and fix. I promise we're investigating it! If it's an easy fix once we track it down, we'll even hotfix it with no other fixes if it solves the problem.
Any info on this? I had some good lava planets I liked to play on, and the ikon gaming tournament is on a lava seed.
I was pretty sure that had been fixed based on the checkins, but as I only have a linux box at home, I couldn't verify it. I figured you all would call it out much sooner than I would be able to verify it was gone.
there's a minor cosmetic issue with cursors being cropped, but who cares if it means i can play PA finally
I like the terrain transition improvements. Very cool. Even trees sometimes partly submerged now. Everything seems to be running better and better. Thanks for the update! Can't wait to see the server lag gone with no stuttering. Just the other day my friends and I were playing FA and it was so irritating because one player had a slow computer it made the whole game lag so bad.
It doesn't preclude normal air factories building seaplanes - TA's seaplane factories could build some normal aircraft too.
Basic? Advanced? Names... What you call orbital and nuke, compared to the lobber and catapult? I guess i cannot speak for everyone, but I'll still say t2, if corrected i will simply pretend i did not read the correction and continue to use the term. The term was never correct, just nicknamed, so assuming everyone else keeps doing it as well, what was accomplished?

Aeon sim - saw that on my own MBP, but our graphics dude is primarily focused on perf for at least a bit longer, other than the black screen on integrated sandy bridge chips.
I had a feeling there'd be a patch! I sadly won't be in to play this one tonight but it sounds like it's going to be a good one! Server sim speed in particular sounds quite attractive ...
