I was unaware that there were going to be orbital fighter units in their own layer, but to me it seems a bit too much, having to manage air and orbital units in my personal opinion might be slightly overwhelming, but im not pro RTS player. I love the idea of orbital buildings that can fire down onto the planets, as well as radars and other structures but i didn't know there were going to be units that move around on that layer. It seems like having orbital fighters might go against the no space battles approach uber were going for, however i dont really know how far their conscious on that goes, it could be cool but this is just my initial reaction. I think it would be far more interesting to have planet to orbital firefights going on rather than having to send units into orbit to destroy the structures that are palce there. I was wondering what the rest of the community thought about this? Disclaimer: I probably dont know what im talking about which is why i dont post much but this is just my tuppence worth
Welcome to the forums! There are currently two very active discussions on this topic (and others surrounding the orbital mechanics) - https://forums.uberent.com/threads/pa-alpha-build-52512.50915/ https://forums.uberent.com/threads/orbital-not-very-orbital.50922/
Thanks! Oh thank you im sorry I didn't post my thoughts on those. I never saw a poll and thought it could be helpful data wise for uber.
