First I want to thank all the people who are working on this game, and I congratulate the great work that has been done so far. As thanks to this work, not think twice about buying the COSMIC LIMITED EDITION.

    Now for my little problem.

I recently changed my pc, a notebook to a desktop. When the notebook played perfectly Planetary Annihilation. But the change can no longer do, he does not run the game, it's me the error described above. "The application can not be initialized corretament (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application."

I've done everything you can imagine, I analyze the hard disk, DLL's analysis, analysis of the stability of Windows, already formatted the pc, but all in vain. This error does not leave me alone!

    My settings are:

    Windows 8 x64 (all driver's updated)
    8 Gb DD3
    GeFORCE Nvidia GT640 2Gb DDR3 128bit (updated driver)

Any possible solution or a light at the end of the tunnel?

If need, I have Team Viewer installed.

What directory are you running out of? It shouldn't matter, but I want to rule out administrator rights. This sounds like something else. You have the .NET framework installed and everything?

This error usually mean that your Windows setup partially broken and usually it's broken by user. Did you get this error after you tried to fix some another error?

Actually for most people it's happen because of wrong Direct3D files which for some reason were included in their Win7/Win8 setups. You can fix it as explained there:

Obviously you don't need install AMD drivers and don't need reboot.
Just very accuracy remove d3dx9 DLLs and then install directx_Jun2010_redist.exe, probably you'll also need to re-install DirectX11 too.
