Does PA have a ladder ranking system?

Hi, sorry if this has already been asked - I did have a look but didn't find an up to date similar question.

So, does PA have a ranking system / ladder ranking like SC2 ?
How does match making work?

It is planned, but currently the only have the "quick match" option that is supposed to put you in a random 1v1 with somebody else. It doesnt always work though.
