Lots of lag on steam

Well i have the new Imac and i don't usually have lag problems but when i comes to planetary annihilation on steam it lags like theres no tomorrow. I don't know if this is just me but if it isn't, please fix!!!

You can play the game without steam, if you want to. On mac it seems to be more laggy with steam than without it. Go to the 'Mac and Linux getting started' thread and download it there directly. You do have to update it manually (== redownload when new build comes out). Or you could just wait until seriously fix the lag.

Update your graphics drivers, turn shadows off, play on small moons.

You can also try disabling the steam overlay as well, that helped my fps a bit.
