Black Screen on Linux

Someone please correct me if I've missed an important thread, but I am unable to get PA running on
Linux. It will start, but stay a black screen, while the steam UI overlay works fine. I've confirmed Vsync off in Catalyst Control Panel, but otherwise am not aware of anything else to try. I will also note that I've confirmed my Steam account and Uber accounts are linked. What else can I do?

Also love the game, plays great on Win7 64.

Actually you need to enable: tear free and vsync. Compositing also required if you don't want to have issues with cursor.

Alright, turned on tear free, which in turn sets Vsync to Always On. Checked Xorg log, verified composite is enabled.

Still have a black screen . Is there anything else I can try, any more in depth log files to check or a command-line parameter to pass in steam?

You can try it on latest Catalyst beta. Or use latest Mesa from git...

I guess thats all thats left. Thank you. For the time being I'll just have to reboot into Windows.
