New patch incoming!

To be fair it's best for uber to try stuff now then at official launch, long as listen servers work we are still cool to play online

I'm getting the same 'steam required' message when I try to launch from batch file. I went ahead and started a dedicated from the game client just to have it running until this gets fixed

there are 14 servers already running, but almost all of them have 200-300+ ping (I'm in seattle) and nobody playing on them.

most of them are still running the old version (the ones with numbers under Host)

Yep better it happend now instead of release date or after . I think they are trying to get it to work with out steam . I see in the files there are some steam related items .

Its just one of thouse things beta's bring about .

Just heard the garage sale/sleepover murder episode one today on pc for the first time.

was the crash on startup fixed?
I gifted a copy to two friends on steam, and one of them gets crashes on startup.

wondering if the patch fixed that?

Server hosting now seems to work, I can join my hosted games no problem, someone else did also! but the new problem is that the server will not show on the main listings for more then a few moments before dissapearing, more then likely as someone joined it. I'll check my current open ports but I don't believe it's that.

yea same problem here , hopefully a quick fix is in the works.
