this is news to me and I did not plan my entire day around qcon already. edit: oh and Evil gonna win this one ez unless Dahang gets lucky on Bloodrun again. This is a horrible qcon anyway. Only three EU players, two of which have practically been inactive for years and only 6 top players overall. DHW is going to be a far better quake event this year.
Stermy vs Evil was amazing to watch, if only Stermy had more practice before hand i think he could of beaten Evil.
The maps weren't in stermy's favour so he would have lost anyway. Blood run is basically evil's home, playing Lost World is a national sport in Russia and I think stermy-in-shape has a slight edge on evil on Furious Heights, but slight enough that evil could still win if he gets lucky a few times.
Yes so he probably has two maps over evil (cure + t7). So, he has to either get lucky on ztn again, or beat evil on toxicity. I'm not buying either. Which is too bad, because I'd really like Dahank to win.

thank god yes next qcon I'm gonna sleep after the bronze finals and put my alarm at 3.30. 99% chance I'll still spend an hour looking at the cheesiest **** ever before I can watch a final between two tired as **** finalists. edit: and yea, sleep deprivation can make feel you like you're a bit stoned calling a two zero blowout, evil looks tired as hell

Just watched the finals. Amazing games. I don't think that could've been scripted better. The rest of the stream was quite...uhhh...peculiar though. Yeah, I think that's the right word.
