Labeling start locations with numbers or letters

In team games, it is often difficult to communicate about where each player should start. We have to say "lets take the location near the equator" or "the one between the two large plateaus", this is not optimal at all, especially when you play with people without vocal chat.

This is why i thought about labeling start locations to choose them much quicker. The communication would be much easier, here are some examples: "lets start at point 2" or "X, you take point 2, i take point 3".

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't start locations different for each player?

This isn't the case for Team Armies.

Everyone on the same team has the same selection of start spots.

Oh, thanks. I'm just not playing Team Armies much yet, nevery tried to check if spots same or not.
