I just upgraded from 50 dollar to the Cosmic Edition (250 USD).
I don't want anything to go wrong and cause "me " any trouble. So I'm asking if it's correct that I got a 20 dollar discount? It costs me 230 dollars instead of 250.

I apologize but this question may seem quite newbish...
When you create a game for windows 7 that game should function in windows 8 correct? i understand the very primitive differences in coding for windows vs apples OS's (root system vs open/ non-root based) comparing say vascular systems windows would have a closed one and apples would be open.. for a crude comparison...

i digress.. my question is: while Uber Ent. is creating PA to operate within W7 will it work automatically within W8.. is it even a significant change between versions of Windows to have to adapt a version to run W8... again this may be a newb question, but I'm good with hardware and have a primitive grasp on software.. would like to understand it better.. plus i would like to get the Enhanced boot time and an OS that would really take advantage of the SSD I will have in a couple weeks along with allowing me to utilize greater then 2 TB of HDD space on my 3TB HDD ...

Can we get some sort of extension for the Cosmic LE package?

I don't really mind alpha access or whatnot...

But I don't wanna miss the other stuff and I'm so close to having enough to make that last upgrade/jump (currently Galactic) ;.;

My one burning questions which I've been spending months carefully phrasing to ask the developers is this:

Will the game have ranged units?

Player drop-out

In multiplayer games: How will player drop-out be handled within the final game?

In the event that a player's forces are not destroyed is then be possible for that player to reconnect to the game and once again take control of their forces?

I play a lot of games with friends who occasionally drop out due to no fault of their own, which can make team games rather frustrating.

Not sure if this has already been answered
But what if the names you want to name the planets already have been taken?
Do you still submit the names and they get an increased chance of being used or do you get a "This name has already been used. Please chose another" or just nothing?

What are the restrictions in terms of creating media of the Alpha access and Beta access?

Looking to start creating content for the game when I purchase it shortly.

You are asked to clearly mark content as "Alpha". Apart from that you are free to share your impressions.

Will i be able to play on multiple computers using a single key??

Me and my friend are saving for the pre-order, every thing is fine, except that i'm unsure that can we share the same key?

This should work for LAN games, but not for online games.

Yeah we'll mostly be LANing. And this also means that we both can't play online simultaneously, hm?
