I bought Planetary annihilation through steam and after i bought PA and downloaded it once i try to start the game it says "PA cannot be opened because of a problem. Check with developer to make sure PA works with this version of Mac OS X..." (10.6.7) i know that it work with 10.7 + but i have updated my Mac and reinstalled PA and i can not start the game, and when i check for other updates i there is none.

snow leopard macs can't update to 10.7 (lion) as 10.7 is 64bit and (generally) 10.6 macs are built on 32-bit hardware. your mac is outdated, sorry.

    PA doesn't support OS X 10.6:

It's on alpha forum, so you need to get access before you can read this thread.

Open this page and Link your Uber and Steam accounts:
    https://uberent.com/user/linksteam
Then log out and login on forum again, after you should be able to view special Linux/Mac subforum:
    viewforum.php?f=73

Can you please check what exactly model of Mac do you have? What version of OS X you currently using?

Yeah. It's okay because I don't know much about Apple specific.
But are you sure that blocwizard have hardware which cannot be upgraded?

a while back I tried to help out giving a friend's mac a performance boost and discovered this situation.
It actually makes sence since Macintosh selects the hardware they put into these puppies draconianly. Even though at the time 64bit laptop chips existed, no point in putting them in for what's going to be packed with a 32bit os.
