Is there anybody capable of explaining the Cosmic Edition?

I'm considering buying the Cosmic Limited Edition, but $250 is pretty steep.

Is there any conceivable reason to get Cosmic over Galactic?

While this explains a bit, there remains a few questions for me.

For example, What would the miniatures consist of? Are there any ideas what the limited edition game box would look like?

You can buy $70 at Uber store and then upgrade to $250 version later.

At this moment it's only way to get physical items related to Planetary Annihilation.

Oh, okay. I must have read over the part where you can upgrade. If I buy it from Steam can I still upgrade to the Cosmic Edition, or do I need to buy it from the Uber Store?

If I recall correctly Garat said that they don't have a system in place for upgrading Steam orders.

Purchasing directly from Uber is the best option for everyone as it gives more money to roll back into PA, Valve takes a cut from all sales naturally so you not only get the benefit of upgrades, but also the benefit of a better game in the end.

I'm currently trying to decide whether I should buy this, or buy a PS4 + Watch Dogs...

I'm kind of thinking of going for the Cosmic Edition first mainly because it won't be available for long, but I'm not too sure.

None of us have the cosmic edition stuff so we can't really determine is it worth it, only he and his brain can decide

If I weren't moving house next month, I'd be pleading with my other half to let me buy the Cosmic Limited Edition.

Also, I wonder... If Uber had got hold of the Total Annihilation IP, do you think they'd have released figurines of the TA units? Because I'd definitely have bought a shed load of those.
