Simple question and hopefully its a simple answer. I wondered when this game is finally released in its full form, if we can have open ended play in the Galactic Sandbox mode. I realise once the game has ended in a Multi-Player game that the game will end, but in a Solo/Single Player/Sandbox Mode game where the Player is battling against AI, once the AI's have been defeated, will we have the option of returning to the game (after the victory message pops up) and continue building our Empire? Was thinking something similar to Sins of a Solar Empire, after finishing beating the AI's the Player can continue building his or her empire. Apologies if this has been asked before.
Sandbox mode in SupCom was essentially defined by having no "win condition", so even if you wiped the entire map clean the game wouldn't end until you quit it yourself. But there is no "Galaxy scale". Mike
Can you think of why it wouldn't? ;p Given the emphasis on modding it'll definitely be something Modders want and will(and already have) request. Mike
