There shouldn't really be any confusion here, There is one game: "Planetary Annihilation", by purchasing this game you will later receive it upon release.

I don't know what that "Cities XL" game is you quoted, but it sounds to me like a pyramid scheme or some other kind of scam.

Real games only ever come in one version, they'll use have special editions or multiple special additions that include extras like art books and whatnot, or the dreaded first day DLC, but generally speaking you can be sure they'll all come with the actual game in them.

Hope that clears things up, and i'm not branded a misinformation spewing twit for my efforts, which i think is more likely than not.

The "galactic" version is the one on our page that includes alpha. That is not included with the $50 package.

The "galactic war" is the metagame which is included for everyone.

A mod corrected him on page 3.. Said no further charges for all tear backings that get the game.. I was led to be-leave that the game will be broken up when released and you would only get acess to galactic version or combat verson depending what you paid for.. thanks for trying to clear things up

People who backed at $50 get everything you have, except alpha access.

Galactic edition = $90 preorder including alpha, beta and a digital artbook

Galactic war = a game feature which will tie together individual battles. Everyone will have this.

All the version names are just marketing. There's no difference between them.
