Issues playing PA

i have acces to the forums cause i downloaded the actual patcher that was linked a few posts back but i think that there is a problem between steam and the pa servers not sure what tho prolly a failure to completely download something but meh back to waiting for the patch so i can try and play :3
oh do you need constant internet connection to play PA?

edit: after going through some of the alpha forums ive noticed alot of people haveing the same issue as me so it is steam thats causing problems not my laptop

Only for alpha and beta stages. Release version will be available as DRM-free, so there will be offline single player and LAN with local profiles support.

wooo wait $#^% its still in alpha isnt it well fml now i gotta deal with a bad laptop and even worse internet ty military

and i cant play ;-; back to waiting on my desktop that could play a blackhole
