Yeah it's understandable. Recommend you ask here when choosing a new computer to make sure your graphics card is up to scratch.

No idea. Perhaps Dell I guess. Recommend you find a tech-savvy guy who can help you choose and order parts individually and then build it himself - should work out quite a bit cheaper.

I don't understand you're looking to buy that card or you own that card?

Looking to buy that card to upgrade but by the looks of it my CPU (while it will not bottleneck) might not be up to an RTS like this

i3 is a tad low but it has a recent cpu architeture which I think this game really needs (I'd like to point out your cpu hits 3.3Ghz wich is quite good)

but indeed intel HD graphics is a no-go for PA and the card you found seems suited to me while not allawing you to play with best (or better) graphical settings.

    you're on a laptop?

More than a solid gpu this game will require a lot of vram.

Certainly, I had no delusions about how far that integrated graphics could carry me. Just needed an opinion on what level of card I need, and thus what power source with these things settled possibly a monitor.

    Edit:

The next cards I'm looking at are the Radeon HD 7850 or GTX 760

Dude make sure your sentenses have a verb, a noun, a subject, a begining, and an end.

You're looking to get a second monitor?

as for the card you found, yes go with it. although if you want more PA bang for the buck a
GTX650-E-2GD5 would do you good since it's a 2gigs of graphic ram good graphic card of around the same price.eVGA GeForce GTX 660 in case you can afford it, this one is the cheapest 3gig card.

EDIT: alright then if you're going to look at a GTX 760, might as well put the above ↑ in normal size :eVGA GeForce GTX 660 this one is the cheapest 3gig card.

graphic ram size is going to be more important for PA than gpu clock.

mushroomars, I only picked that one because it was one of the cheapest 2 gig ones, if there a ti edit, might as well.

Evga and gigabyte both make a 2 gig ti edit

I like the HD 7850 idea because it has 2 gigs and is quite cheap.

I only mentioned the display as I intend to replace my old one.

If I go with the 7850 I'll need between a 500-600W power supply. I also should make measurements

No. PA couldn't run on that.

It would be forced over its tick limit by the sheer overkill of the machine it is running on, causing temporal fissures to form and the universe to implode around your computer.

You could probably run two copies of PA at once lol. How much does all that cost?

Looking at each of the components and their benchmarks the answer is yes, but you don't need all of that.

    That is reasonable.

I tend to avoid extra flair and the LED's and laser etchings seem a bit much.

Now back o trying to find a nice 600W power source that will fit my case.
