So she got me from behind. grappled while cloaked?

How often have you came across an assassin grappling you from behind while you are cloaked?

i was in a game with an assassin with a name something like zozo.
every single time i was cloaked this other assassin would grapple me from behind like i was wearing a neon pink sign saying "grab me from behind"

to me it seems a bit fishy, but how often have you guys come across this?

Are you aware that while cloaked you emit a humming noise and are still slightly visible at closer ranges? I've simply walked up to and killed plenty of assassins who apparently thought they were completely undetectable, standing in a corner with their cloak on.

Also the faster you run the more likely you are spotted. I just love the Assassins who run straight at my already spinning double miniguns. Hey, I'm cloaked - what could possibly go wrong with my plan? :lol:

Hi. I'm that jerk. Right here. I have those "unbelievable skills" called eyes and ears. To put it simply. cloak in this game isn't that great, don't convince yourself your actually invisible bro, cause quite accurately...your not. your just opaque. and you make a really load humming sound. I hear a hum, i look around, I see opacity...i see you. Oh and ps? when you dash with cloak you have a trail of kicked up dust following you, makes it all the easier.

Once you see an assassin, it's pretty easy to track where she goes, cloak or not, as long as you're within a short-medium range. If you use dash while cloaked, it's even easier

Cloak is good for avoiding bot/turret fire, and it's good for flanking without being noticed, but you can't really run around near people without them noticing

Any good assassin can track other assassins that have slipped up somewhere along the line (aka appearing to take out a teammate of yours). People have a tendency to follow similar escape paths, and a good assassin can at least anticipate where you will try and escape to in the first place. On top of this, the cloak (like everyone has said), does emit a fairly loud noise. You can't really rely on it to hide from people, except maybe for a short duration while they find the source of it...

Once I know that an assassin is nearby - let alone intending to kill me - it's very easy to pin them down and keep track of them even while they're cloaked. The glass/predator/heat shimmer effect is easy to spot if you're looking for it.

I get most flak for this as assault I think, since it's really easy to lvl3 charge them before they suspect you're onto them.

You think my assassin vs assassin is ruff? You should see support. Nothing pisses em off more then when they're coming at you and you stand there "acting" oblivious, only to grab THEM when they get to you and plug them with your shotty before they can move.

Thats another hilarious topic right there. 90% of players seem to LOVE assassin, 90% of them...are horrible at it. It's a CLOAK, NOT invisibility, if you INSIST on running straight at someone, they'd have to be a moron NOT to see you. Just cause your harder to see, doesn't mean you can avoid coming from outside their field of vision. L2BSneaky ppl.

You should practice what you preach and maybe you wouldn't be so terrible. Also you wouldn't have to resort to callling people fags in game and rage quitting after getting buttraped.

No, every class can see sins like that. Some people just don't pay a lot of attention.

I've generally encountered the better Assassins perching over arches or on high-ground waiting for people to blunder past with a wave of Blackjacks.

Also, it's hilariously lulzy when Assassins collect loot while cloaked - nothing says SHOOT RIGHT HERE more than a floating dollar sign.

how about i tried complimenting you on a good assault preformance and you just started talking ****? how bout i finished the round out, carrying my team, despite a game crippling hangover, before deciding i didnt wanna play with scrubs for another round and left? how about giving an accurate depiction of the situation before making yourself look like a troll?

ZoZo is a good player: how about instead of insulting him, just admit he is a good player and move on?

I agree with him, it aint rage quitting if you're tired of getting horrible teams round after round. Eventually players need a break and it happens more frequently when you're stuck with bad teammates time and time again.

Actually, I guess I didn't really look at names, but the one who was insulting was sweeb. What I meant by my post is to just skip insults and just say nothing at all. What sweeb said was uncalled for.

Sorry if i offended anyone.. I take these games too seriously sometimes and I have to admit am very competitive and a trash talker and those two don't mix very well on the internets.

I know that you can see assassins, i've been playin since the xbox release. But the whole time, I thought Sins can see other Sins perfectly while cloaked. I've seriously played it maybe 3 times.
